In July, we should have gathered in Budapest in the Puskas Stadium as part of the great congregation for the Ez Az A Nap (This is the Day) event.
Because of COVID-19 we cannot be together but the event will still go ahead.
The cream of Eastern European Worship Teams will lead us from the stadium, while videos will be sent from Worship leaders from around the world.
There will also be messages from gifted communicators Louie Giglio, Max Lucado and Nick Vujicic.
Worship songs will be sent from Matt Redman, Michael W Smith, Chris Tomlin, Rend Collective, Martin Smith, Tim Hughes and Worship Central, Kim Walker-Smith, Noel Richards and Graham Kendrick.
There will be English subtitles during the live stream!
Over the past seven years, Judith & I have been part of building a bridge between Britain & Budapest and have facilitated many UK & US worship leaders being part of This is the Day events.
After the Wembley Stadium Champion of the World gathering in 1997. intercessors came to Noel & Tricia Richards saying this is not the end but the beginning and that there are three more stadiums for us to gather in; Berlin, Budapest & Barcelona.
Calling all Nations happened in the Berlin Olympic Stadium in 2006.
Fourteen years later we are now at Budapest, which is such a strategic city for Eastern Europe.
Viktor Laszlo and his team and have done a magnificent job of running and persevering with this vision.
Amazingly, the first music event to happen in this brand new Puskas Stadium, Hungary’s National stadium, will be a worship concert. An historic day!
