Book Reviews 2024

Being on holiday is one of the best times to read a book or three! For our week of relaxing, reading and resting, I took four books with me - a couple of classics, a biography, plus a Beatles story!

Read my brief reviews below.

We also listened daily to Lectio (24-7 Prayer) and a few Rick Beato podcasts. I returned home feeling refreshed & inspired!

Adventures in Modern Recording: from ABC to ZTT by Trevor Horn

Trevor Horn set the sonic bar high in the 80’s.  ABC's Lexicon of Love album was a favourite of mine, as well as Grace Jones' Slave to Rhythm.

This was an inspiring read which encouraged me to go for greatness, make it world class and see it go worldwide.
